Esperar em Deus não é passividade — é confiança ativa no Senhor que age no tempo perfeito. Os que esperam nele não serão confundidos nem envergonhados.

Descanse somente em Deus, ó minha alma, pois dele vem a minha esperança. Ele é rocha e salvação — não serei abalado.

5 I am waiting for the Lord, my soul is waiting for him, and my hope is in his word.6 My soul is watching for the Lord more than those who are watching for the morning; yes, more than the watchers for the morning.
3 Let no servant of yours be put to shame; may those be shamed who are false without cause.

Confiança na espera
O Senhor é bom para os que esperam nele. O olho não viu o que Deus preparou para os que o amam e o aguardam.
31 But those who are waiting for the Lord will have new strength; they will get wings like eagles: running, they will not be tired, and walking, they will have no weariness.
2 O Lord, have mercy on us; for we have been waiting for your help: be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of trouble.
22 Do not say, I will give punishment for evil: go on waiting for the Lord, and he will be your saviour.
7 Go on waiting calmly, my brothers, till the coming of the Lord, like the farmer waiting for the good fruit of the earth till the early and late rains have come.8 Be as calm in your waiting; let your hearts be strong: because the coming of the Lord is near.
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for life eternal through the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.
