Esperar em Deus
Esperar em Deus não é passividade — é confiança ativa no Senhor que age no tempo perfeito. Os que esperam nele não serão confundidos nem envergonhados.
Esperança em Deus
Descanse somente em Deus, ó minha alma, pois dele vem a minha esperança. Ele é rocha e salvação — não serei abalado.
5 My soul, rest thou only in God, for my hope [is] from him.
7 [Daleth] Be silent before the LORD and wait [patiently] for him; do not be angry with him who prospers in his way, with the man who brings wicked devices to pass.
9 For evildoers shall be cut off; but those that wait for the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

5 I have waited for the LORD, my soul has waited, and for his word I have waited.6 My soul [has waited] for the Lord more than those that watch for the morning: [I say, more than] those that watch for the morning.
3 [Gimel] Yea, none that wait on thee shall be ashamed; those which rebel without cause shall be ashamed.
15 For thee, O LORD, do I wait; thou wilt respond, O Lord my God.
14 Wait for the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart; wait, I say, for the LORD.:
Confiança na espera
O Senhor é bom para os que esperam nele. O olho não viu o que Deus preparou para os que o amam e o aguardam.
31 but those that wait for the LORD shall have new strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.:
2 O LORD, have mercy on us; we wait for thee: [thou] wert the strength of thy people in the beginning, be also our saving health in the time of tribulation.
4 Nor have [men] heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither has the eye seen a God beside thee, that thou might do [it again] for the one who waits in him.
22 Say not thou, I will take vengeance, [but] wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.
7 Be patient, therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently until it receives the early and latter rain.8 Be ye also patient and confirm your hearts, for the coming of the Lord draws near.
21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, unto eternal life,
20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
