Espírito
O espírito humano é a parte mais profunda do nosso ser — onde Deus habita, onde a fé se ancora e de onde brota a verdadeira adoração. A Bíblia nos chama a viver pelo Espírito.
A natureza do espírito
O espírito está pronto, mas a carne é fraca. A batalha entre carne e espírito é constante e exige vigilância.
Watch, and pray, that you may not enter into temptation: the spirit indeed is forward, but the flesh weak."
"Blessed the poor in spirit—because theirs is the kingdom of the heavens.
for the flesh desires contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit contrary to the flesh, and these are opposed to one another, that the things that you may will—these you may not do;
And I say, walk in the Spirit, and you may not fulfill the desire of the flesh;
And the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, [and] self-control. Against such there is no law;
if we may live in the Spirit, we may also walk in the Spirit;
for the mind of the flesh [is] death, and the mind of the Spirit—life and peace;
O Espírito de Deus em nós
Vosso corpo é templo do Espírito Santo. Deus fortalece com poder no homem interior pelo seu Espírito.
Have you not known that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, which you have from God? And you are not your own, for you were bought with a price; glorify, then, God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
And he who is joined to the LORD is one spirit;
for who of men has known the things of the man, except the spirit of the man that [is] in him? So also the things of God no one has known, except the Spirit of God.
What then is it? I will pray [in] the spirit, and I will also pray [with] understanding; I will sing psalms [in] the spirit, and I will also sing psalms [with] understanding;
that He may give to you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened through His Spirit with might, in regard to the inner man, that the Christ may dwell through the faith in your hearts, having been rooted and founded in love,
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of the glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the recognition of Him,
for you did not receive a spirit of bondage again for fear, but you received [the] Spirit of adoption in which we cry, "Abba! Father!" [This] One—the Spirit—testifies with our spirit, that we are children of God;

And in like manner also, the Spirit helps our weaknesses; for what we may pray for, as it is necessary, we have not known, but [this] One—the Spirit—makes intercession for us with unutterable groanings,
in the diligence not slothful; in the spirit fervent; serving the LORD;
and the God of the hope will fill you with all joy and peace in the believing, for your abounding in the hope in power of the Holy Spirit.
Vida no Espírito
Deus é Espírito e importa que os que o adoram o adorem em espírito e em verdade. O Espírito vivifica e transforma.
God [is] Spirit, and those worshiping Him should worship in spirit and truth."
but there comes an hour, and it now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father also seeks such to worship Him; God [is] Spirit, and those worshiping Him should worship in spirit and truth."
and we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the LORD in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image, from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.
Having, then, these promises, beloved, may we cleanse ourselves from every defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting sanctification in the fear of God;
for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind;
for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind;
For I have known that this will turn out to me for salvation, through your supplication, and the supply of the Spirit of Christ Jesus,
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [is] with you all! Amen.
Promessas do Espírito
Derramarei o meu Espírito sobre toda a carne. O Espírito revela, guia e capacita os filhos de Deus.
Turn back at my reproof, behold, || I pour forth my spirit to you, || I make known my words with you.
All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, || And YHWH is pondering the spirits.
Pride [is] before destruction, || And before stumbling—a haughty spirit. Better is humility of spirit with the poor, || Than to apportion spoil with the proud.
Better [is] the [one] slow to anger than the mighty, || And the ruler over his spirit than he who is taking a city.
The breath of man [is] a lamp of YHWH, || Searching all the inner parts of the heart.
And he answers and speaks to me, saying, "This [is] a word of YHWH to Zerubbabel, saying, || Not by a force, nor by power, || But—by My Spirit, said YHWH of Hosts.
"[The] Spirit of Lord YHWH [is] on Me, || Because YHWH anointed Me || To proclaim tidings to the humble, || He sent Me to bind the broken of heart, || To proclaim liberty to the captives, || And an opening of bands to [those] bound.
And I have given one heart to them, || And I give a new spirit in your midst, || And I have turned the heart of stone out of their flesh, || And I have given a heart of flesh to them. So that they walk in My statutes, || And keep My judgments, and have done them, || And they have been to Me for a people, || And I am to them for God.
Thus said Lord YHWH to these bones: Behold, I am bringing a spirit into you, and you have lived,
Cuidar do espírito
Cria em mim um coração puro e renova dentro de mim um espírito reto. O espírito quebrantado Deus não rejeita.
Create for me a clean heart, O God, || And renew a right spirit within me. Do not cast me forth from Your presence, || And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, || And a willing spirit sustains me.
The sacrifices of God [are] a broken spirit, || A heart broken and bruised, O God, || You do not despise.
YHWH [is] near to the broken of heart, || And He saves the bruised of spirit.
Do not trust in princes—in a son of man, || For he has no deliverance. His spirit goes forth, he returns to his earth, || In that day his thoughts have perished.
for the Word of God is living, and working, and sharper—beyond every two-edged sword—and piercing as far as [the] division of soul and spirit, of joints and also marrows, and a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart;
For as the body apart from [the] spirit is dead, so also the faith apart from works is dead.
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but prove the spirits, if they are of God, because many false prophets have gone forth into the world.
in this we know that we remain in Him, and He in us, because of His Spirit He has given us.
If, then, you, being evil, have known to be giving good gifts to your children, how much more will the Father who is from Heaven give the Holy Spirit to those asking Him!"
and there appeared to them divided tongues, as it were of fire; it also sat on each one of them, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, according as the Spirit was giving them to declare.
In [the] beginning God created the heavens and the earth, and the earth was formless and void, and darkness [was] on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God [was] fluttering on the face of the waters,
Surely a spirit is in man, || And the breath of the Mighty One || Causes them to understand.
While that the silver cord is not removed, || And the golden bowl broken, || And the pitcher broken by the fountain, || And the wheel broken at the well. And the dust returns to the earth as it was, || And the spirit returns to God who gave it.
The signs and wonders that God Most High has done with me, it is good before me to show. How great His signs! And how mighty His wonders! His kingdom [is] a continuous kingdom, and His rule [is] with generation and generation.
