19 Go, therefore, and make disciples*of*all nations,*baptizing*them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember,*I am with you always,*to the end of the age."*

15 Then  * he said to them, "Go into all the world*and preach the gospel to all creation.*

8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."*

14 "You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden.*

13 "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt should lose its taste, how can it be made salty?*It’s no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet.*

15 No one lights a lamp*and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house.*16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.*

17 From then on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, because the kingdom of heaven*has come near."

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel,  *,* because it is the power of God for salvation  * to everyone who believes, first to the Jew,  * and also to the Greek.  *

17 So faith comes from what is heard,  * and what is heard comes through the message about Christ.  *,*

2 I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.  *

1 Now I want to make clear for you, brothers and sisters, the gospel I preached to you, which you received, on which you have taken your stand  *2 and by which you are being saved, if you hold to the message I preached to you — unless you believed in vain.  *

14 He called you to this through our gospel, so that you might obtain the glory  * of our Lord Jesus Christ.

15 but in your hearts regard  * Christ  * the Lord as holy, ready at any time to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.  *

35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love*one another."

8 My Father is glorified*by this: that you produce much fruit and prove to be*my disciples.

47 For this is what the Lord has commanded us:

I have made you

a light for the Gentiles

to bring salvation

to the ends of the earth."  *,*

24 But I consider my life of no value to myself; my purpose is to finish my course  * and the ministry  * I received from the Lord Jesus,  * to testify to the gospel of God’s grace.

18 The Spirit of the Lord is on me,

because he has anointed me

to preach good news to the poor.

He has sent me*

to proclaim release*to the captives

and recovery of sight to the blind,

to set free the oppressed,

29 "Truly I tell you,"* Jesus said, "there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father*or children or fields for my sake and for the sake of the gospel,*30 who will not receive a hundred times*more, now at this time*— houses, brothers and sisters, mothers and children, and fields, with persecutions*— and eternal life*in the age to come.*

35 For whoever wants to save*his life will lose it,*but whoever loses*his life*because of me*and the gospel*will save it.*

1 Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name;

proclaim his deeds among the peoples.  *

4 and on that day you will say,

"Give thanks to the Lord; proclaim his name!

Make his works known among the peoples.  *

Declare that his name is exalted.

27 God wanted to make known among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ  * in you, the hope  * of glory.

1 But you are to proclaim things consistent with sound teaching.  *

23 I will display my greatness and holiness, and I will reveal myself in the sight of many nations.  * Then they will know that I am the Lord.’
