A evangelização é a missão suprema da Igreja. Jesus mandou: ide por todo o mundo e pregai o evangelho a toda criatura. O evangelho é poder de Deus para a salvação de todo aquele que crê.
A Grande Comissão
Ide, fazei discípulos de todas as nações. Jesus confiou a seus seguidores a missão de levar a boa notícia ao mundo inteiro.
Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the age."
And he said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the farthest part of the earth."

The Sermon on the Mount: Salt and Light
"You are the salt of the earth. But if salt becomes tasteless, by what will it be made salty? It is good for nothing any longer except to be thrown outside and trampled under foot by people.
nor do they light a lamp and place it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it shines on all those in the house. In the same way let your light shine before people, so that they can see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
From that time on, Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, because the kingdom of heaven is near."
O poder do evangelho

The Gospel’s Power for Salvation
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

But I consider my life as worth nothing to myself, in order to finish my mission and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

because of which he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me
to proclaim release to the captives,
and recovery of sight to the blind,
to send out in freedom those who are oppressed,
Jesus said, "Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields on account of me and on account of the gospel who will not receive a hundred times as much now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and fields, together with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life on account of me and of the gospel will save it.

to whom God wanted to make known what is the glorious wealth of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory,
Sound Instruction and Consistent Behavior
But you, speak the things which are fitting for sound instruction.
And so I will exalt myself, and I will show myself holy, and I will make myself known before the eyes of many nations, and they will know that I am Yahweh.’ "
