Evangelização: o que é e como praticar o testemunho cristão
Evangelizar significa anunciar boas notícias: no Novo Testamento, a mensagem de que Deus reconciliou a humanidade consigo por meio da vida, morte e ressurreição de Jesus Cristo. Não se trata de vencer debates nem de impor dogmas, mas de proclamar com clareza a salvação e demonstrar essa fé em atitudes práticas.
O mandamento de Jesus e a Grande Comissão
Antes de sua ascensão, Jesus confiou aos discípulos a responsabilidade de levar a mensagem do Reino a todas as pessoas. Esse envio não depende da força humana, mas da capacitação do Espírito Santo dada à comunidade de fé.
"Go and make disciples, of all the nations, to believe in my name"
"and teach them to observe all the words which I have commanded you, forever".(Gosel 28:19,20)
And he said unto them, Go you2f into all the world, and preach the Gospel (joyful message) to every creature.(Mark 16:15)
But you2f shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit [Ruach HaKodesh] is come upon you: and you2f shall be witnesses unto me both in Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], and in all Y’hudah [praised], and in Shomron [watch mountain], and unto the uttermost part of the earth.(Acts 1:8)
From then on Yeshua [God is Salvation] began to preach and to say: "Turn you in repentance for the Kingdom of heaven is here".(Gosel 4:17)
A proclamação verbal caminha junto com o testemunho diário. No Sermão do Monte, Jesus adverte que as boas obras visíveis confirmam a mensagem falada e glorificam a Deus diante do mundo.
At that time Yeshua [God is Salvation] said to his disciples: "You are salt in the world. If the salt is neutralized in regard to its taste with what will it be salted? It is fit for nothing but to be cast outside to be trampled underfoot".(Gosel 5:13)
"You are light in the world. A city built upon a hill cannot be hidden".(Gosel 5:14)
"They do not light a lamp to place it in a hidden place where it cannot shine; but they place it upon a lamp-stand so that it might shine for all in the house".
"Thus let your light shine before every man to show them your good deeds which give praise and glory to your Father Who is in heaven".(Gosel 5:15,16)
Por que a mensagem do evangelho tem poder
A eficácia da evangelização não está na retórica ou na habilidade de quem fala, mas no conteúdo da mensagem. O apóstolo Paulo afirma que a proclamação de Cristo crucificado carrega em si o poder transformador de Deus para gerar fé no coração do ouvinte.
For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (joyful message) of Moshiach [Messiah]: for it is the power of God-The Father unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek [unstable: the miry one].(Romans 1:16)
So then faith [comes] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God-The Father.(Romans 10:17)
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah], and him crucified.(1 Corinthians 2:2)
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel (joyful message) which I preached unto you, which also you2f have received, and wherein you2f stand;
By which also you2f are saved, if you2f keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you2f have believed in vain.(1 Corinthians 15:1,2)
Whereunto he called you by our Gospel (joyful message), to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord - Kurios [he to whom a person belongs] Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah].(2 Thessalonians 2:14)
A postura do cristão ao testemunhar
Falar da fé exige equilíbrio entre clareza bíblica e mansidão. O Novo Testamento orienta que a defesa da esperança cristã seja feita com respeito, respaldada pelo amor prático entre os irmãos e pela disposição de priorizar a missão acima de interesses pessoais.
But sanctify (make holy; set apart for God’s use) the Lord - Kurios God-The Father in your hearts: and [be] ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:(1 Peter 3:15)
By this shall all [men] know that you2f are my disciples, if you2f have love one to another.(John 13:35)
Herein is my Father glorified, that you2f bear much fruit; so shall you2f be my disciples.(John 15:8)
For so has the Lord - Kurios commanded us, [saying], I have set youi to be a light of the Goyim [Gentiles], that youi should be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.(Acts 13:47)
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord - Kurios [he to whom a person belongs] Yeshua [God is Salvation], to testify the Gospel (joyful message) of the grace of God-The Father.(Acts 20:24)
The Spirit [Ruach] of the Lord - Kurios-Yehovah [is] upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the Gospel (joyful message) to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,(Luke 4:18)
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the Gospel (joyful message)’s, the same shall save it.(Mark 8:35)
And Yeshua [God is Salvation] answered and said, Truly I say unto you, There is no man that has left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the Gospel (joyful message)’s,
But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.(Mark 10:29,30)
A proclamação das obras de Deus entre os povos
Tornar o Senhor conhecido não é uma ideia exclusiva da Igreja primitiva. As Escrituras mostram, desde os profetas e salmistas, o propósito contínuo de Deus de manifestar sua fidelidade e santidade a todas as nações da terra.
O give thanks unto the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate]; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.(Tehillim - Psalms 105:1)
And in that day shall you2f say, Praise the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that His name is exalted.(Isaiah 12:4)
To whom God-The Father would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Goyim [Gentiles]; which is Moshiach [Messiah] in you, the hope of glory:(Colossians 1:27)
But speak youi the things which become sound doctrine:(Titus 2:1)
Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify (make holy; set apart for God’s use) myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I [am] the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).(Ezekiel 38:23)
