19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: teach…: or, make disciples, or, Christians of all nations20 Teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt hath lost its savour, how shall it be salted? it is then good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot by men.

15 Neither do men light a lamp, and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand; and it giveth light to all that are in the house. a bushel: the word in the original signifieth a measure containing about a pint less than a peck16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God to salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

8 In this is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

29 Jesus answered and said, Verily I say to you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

35 For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it; but whoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.
