Família de Deus: o que é e como fazemos parte dela
A família de Deus é a comunidade de todas as pessoas reconciliadas com o Pai pela fé em Jesus Cristo. Essa ligação não depende de sangue, linhagem biológica ou instituição terrena: quem crê é adotado como filho de Deus e se torna, espiritualmente, irmão de outros crentes.
Filhos por adoção: como se entra na família de Deus
No mundo greco-romano do primeiro século, a adoção legal concedia ao filho adotado exatamente os mesmos direitos, nome e herança de um descendente biológico. O Novo Testamento utiliza essa mesma figura jurídica para explicar a conversão: quem confia em Cristo deixa a condição de estranho e passa a ter acesso direto ao Pai, tornando-se co-herdeiro com o Filho.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God-Theos, [even] to them that believe on his name:
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God-Theos.(John 1:12,13)
Having predestinated us unto the sonship of children by Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah] to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he has made us accepted in the beloved.(Ephesians 1:5,6)
For you2f have not received the Spirit [Ruach] of bondage again to fear; but you2f have received the Spirit [Ruach] of sonship, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
The Spirit [Ruach] itself bears witness with our Spirit [Ruach], that we are the children of God-The Father:
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God-The Father, and joint-heirs with Moshiach [Messiah]; if so be that we suffer (allow, to let, permit) with [him], that we may be also glorified together.(Romans 8:15-17)
But when the fullness of the time was come, God-The Father sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the sonship of sons.
And because you2f are sons, God-The Father has sent forth the Spirit [Ruach] of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
For what reason youi are no more a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God-The Father through Moshiach [Messiah].(Galatians 4:4-7)
For you2f are all the children of God-The Father by faith in Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation].
For as many of you as have been baptized into Moshiach [Messiah] have put on Moshiach [Messiah].
There is neither Jewish [praised] people nor Greek [unstable: the miry one], there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you2f are all one in Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation].(Galatians 3:26-28)
For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord - Kurios [he to whom a person belongs] Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah],
Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,(Ephesians 3:14,15)
O que Jesus ensinou sobre os laços espirituais
Em seu ministério terreno, Jesus redefiniu as prioridades de lealdade e parentesco. Quando avisado de que sua mãe e seus irmãos de sangue o procuravam do lado de fora, ele apontou para os discípulos ao redor, ensinando que o vínculo gerado pela obediência à vontade de Deus supera as fronteiras familiares terrenas.
And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?
And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
For whosoever shall do the will of God-Theos, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.(Mark 3:33-35)
And the slave abides not in the house forever: [but] the Son abides ever.(John 8:35)
Yeshua [God is Salvation] said unto them, If God-The Father were your Father, you2f would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God-The Father; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.(John 8:42)
Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God-The Father: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God-The Father, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.(1 John 3:1,2)
Como a família de Deus vive em comunhão
Ser da família de Deus não é uma ideia abstrata; ganha forma no convívio concreto da igreja local. Por isso, as cartas apostólicas tratam os irmãos de fé com vocabulário doméstico: membros de um mesmo corpo, pedras do mesmo edifício e participantes do mesmo cuidado mútuo, tanto na celebração quanto na dor e na disciplina paternal de Deus.
Now therefore you2f are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God-The Father;
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah] himself being the chief corner [stone];
In whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto an holy temple in the Lord - Kurios:
In whom you2f also are built together for an habitation of God-The Father through the Spirit [Ruach].(Ephesians 2:19-22)
So we, [being] many, are one body in Moshiach [Messiah], and every one members one of another.(Romans 12:5)
And whether one member suffer (allow, to let, permit), all the members suffer (allow, to let, permit) with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.(1 Corinthians 12:26)
Rebuke (reprimand; strongly warn; restrain) not an elder, but intreat [him] as a father; [and] the younger men as brethren;
The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.(1 Timothy 5:1,2)
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all [men], especially unto them who are of the household of faith.(Galatians 6:10)
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as you2f see the day approaching.(Hebrews 10:25)
If you2f endure chastening, God-The Father deals with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chastens not?
But if you2f be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are you2f bastards, and not sons.
Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected [us], and we gave [them] reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
For they truly for a few days chastened [us] after their own pleasure; but he for [our] profit, that [we] might be partakers of his holiness.(Hebrews 12:7-10)
