Filho de Deus
Jesus é o Filho de Deus — a revelação suprema do Pai. Nele habita toda a plenitude da divindade e por Ele temos acesso ao Pai, à salvação e à vida eterna.
A revelação do Filho
O Filho é o resplendor da glória de Deus. Quem vê o Filho vê o Pai. Jesus é a imagem perfeita do Deus invisível.
Confissão e fé
Tu és o Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo! Quem confessa que Jesus é o Filho de Deus, Deus permanece nele.
Now when Jesus came into the parts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Who do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, Some say John the Baptist; some, Elijah; and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But who say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightaway from the water: and lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon him; and lo, a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Vida no Filho
Deus enviou seu Filho ao mundo para que vivêssemos por Ele. O Filho dá vida, julga e reconcilia os pecadores com o Pai.
