3 He is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his nature, sustaining all things by his powerful word. When he had made purification for *our sins *by giving his own life, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in high places, 4 having become as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.

14 The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only *Son, who is at the Father’s side, has made him known.

17 But Jesus responded to them, "My Father is still working even now, and I too am working." 18 So the Jews were seeking all the more to kill him, because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.

13 Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say that *I, the Son of Man, am?" 14 They said, "Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others say that yoʋ are Jeremiah or one of the prophets." 15 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" 16 Simon Peter answered, "Yoʋ are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

16 After being baptized, Jesus immediately went up from the water. And behold, the heavens were opened *to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And behold, a voice from heaven said, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

15 If anyone confesses that *Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

9 In this the love of God was revealed among us, that God sent his one and only Son into the world so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

8 Whoever practices sin is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.

12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

16 "For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whomever he wishes. 22 The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, 23 so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

25 "Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear it will live. 26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in himself.

12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. The life that I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.

4 But when the fullness of time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. 6 And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into *your hearts, crying out, "Abba! Father!"

10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more will we be saved by his life now that we have been reconciled!
