Filho do homem
Filho do Homem é o título que Jesus mais usou para si mesmo. Ele conecta sua humanidade plena com a visão profética de Daniel sobre o Messias glorioso que receberá domínio eterno.
A profecia de Daniel
Daniel viu alguém como o Filho do Homem vindo com as nuvens do céu. Foi-lhe dado domínio, glória e reino eterno.
I saw in the night visions, and, behold, [one] like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion [is] an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom [that] which shall not be destroyed.
And in the midst of the seven candlesticks [one] like unto the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and wrapped around about the breasts with a golden belt.
And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud [one] sat like unto the Son of Man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing on the right hand of God-The Father.
Jesus, o Filho do Homem
O Filho do Homem veio buscar e salvar o que se havia perdido. Ele tem autoridade para perdoar pecados e julgar.
"and the Son of Man is not saving the enemy"
He answered and said to them: "The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man,
"For as he was in the bowels (inward parts; affections) of the fish three days and three nights, so will the Son of Man be in the belly of the earth, buried for three days and three nights".
They were in Galil [circuit] and Yeshua [God is Salvation] said: "The Son of Man will be delivered into the hand of men"
"So you should be prepared, because you do not know at what hour the Son of Man is going to come".
Again Yeshua [God is Salvation] said to his disciples: "When the Son of Man comes in his revelation with his angels, then he will sit upon the throne of his glory".
For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of Man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.
For even the Son of Man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
But that you2f may know that the Son of Man has power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto youi, Arise, and take up youri couch, and go into youri house.
And Yeshua [God is Salvation] said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air [have] nests; but the Son of Man has not where to lay [his] head.
For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one [part] under heaven, shines unto the other [part] under heaven; so shall also the Son of Man be in his day.
Glória e autoridade
Quando o Filho do Homem for levantado, atrairá todos a si. Ele é plenamente humano e plenamente divino.
Then said Yeshua [God is Salvation] unto them, When you2f have lifted up the Son of Man, then shall you2f know that I am [he], and [that] I do nothing of myself; but as my Father has taught me, I speak these things.
And he says unto him, Truly, truly, I say unto you, Hereafter you2f shall see heaven open, and the angels of God-The Father ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.
But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that youi are mindful of him? or the Son of Man, that youi visit him?
