Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh.

The fruit of the womb is his reward.

As arrows in the hand of a mighty man,

so are the children of youth.

Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them.

They won’t be disappointed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.(Psalms 127:3-5)

Blessed is everyone who fears Yahweh,

who walks in his ways.

For you will eat the labor of your hands.

You will be happy, and it will be well with you.

Your wife will be as a fruitful vine in the innermost parts of your house,

your children like olive shoots around your table.

Behold, this is how the man who fears Yahweh is blessed.(Psalms 128:1-4)

His offspring will be mighty in the land.

The generation of the upright will be blessed.(Psalms 112:2)

Then our sons will be like well-nurtured plants,

our daughters like pillars carved to adorn a palace.(Psalms 144:12)

God blessed them. God said to them, "Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."(Genesis 1:28)

You will be blessed above all peoples. There won’t be male or female barren among you, or among your livestock.(Deuteronomy 7:14)

You shall be blessed in the fruit of your body, the fruit of your ground, the fruit of your animals, the increase of your livestock, and the young of your flock.(Deuteronomy 28:4)

Ensinar o caminho e transmitir a fé

These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.(Deuteronomy 6:6,7)

Train up a child in the way he should go,

and when he is old he will not depart from it.(Proverbs 22:6)

Listen, sons, to a father’s instruction.

Pay attention and know understanding;(Proverbs 4:1)

We will not hide them from their children,

telling to the generation to come the praises of Yahweh,

his strength, and his wondrous deeds that he has done.(Psalms 78:4)

One who spares the rod hates his son,

but one who loves him is careful to discipline him.(Proverbs 13:24)

Folly is bound up in the heart of a child;

the rod of discipline drives it far from him.(Proverbs 22:15)

Don’t withhold correction from a child.

If you punish him with the rod, he will not die.(Proverbs 23:13)

The rod of correction gives wisdom,

but a child left to himself causes shame to his mother.(Proverbs 29:15)

You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.(Ephesians 6:4)

Fathers, don’t provoke your children, so that they won’t be discouraged.(Colossians 3:21)

It is for discipline that you endure. God deals with you as with children, for what son is there whom his father doesn’t discipline? But if you are without discipline, of which all have been made partakers, then you are illegitimate, and not children.(Hebrews 12:7,8)

But when Jesus saw it, he was moved with indignation and said to them, "Allow the little children to come to me! Don’t forbid them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these. (Mark 10:14)

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! (Matthew 7:11)

And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.(Luke 2:52)

Like a father has compassion on his children,

so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him.(Psalms 103:13)

See how great a love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn’t know us, because it didn’t know him.(1 John 3:1)

A woman, when she gives birth, has sorrow because her time has come. But when she has delivered the child, she doesn’t remember the anguish any more, for the joy that a human being is born into the world. (John 16:21)

For you formed my inmost being.

You knit me together in my mother’s womb.

I will give thanks to you,

for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Your works are wonderful.

My soul knows that very well.

My frame wasn’t hidden from you,

when I was made in secret,

woven together in the depths of the earth.

Your eyes saw my body.

In your book they were all written,

the days that were ordained for me,

when as yet there were none of them.(Psalms 139:13-16)

"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.

Before you were born, I sanctified you.

I have appointed you a prophet to the nations."(Jeremiah 1:5)

‘Yahweh bless you, and keep you.

Yahweh make his face to shine on you,

and be gracious to you.

Yahweh lift up his face toward you,

and give you peace.’(Numbers 6:24-26)

For I will pour water on him who is thirsty,

and streams on the dry ground.

I will pour my Spirit on your descendants,

and my blessing on your offspring;

and they will spring up among the grass,

as willows by the watercourses.(Isaiah 44:3,4)

All your children will be taught by Yahweh,

and your children’s peace will be great.(Isaiah 54:13)

Then they will be my people, and I will be their God. I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for their good and the good of their children after them.(Jeremiah 32:38,39)

I was thrown on you from my mother’s womb.

You are my God since my mother bore me.(Psalms 22:10)

I have been young, and now am old,

yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken,

nor his children begging for bread.

All day long he deals graciously, and lends.

His offspring is blessed.(Psalms 37:25,26)

God give you of the dew of the sky,

of the fatness of the earth,

and plenty of grain and new wine.

Let peoples serve you,

and nations bow down to you.

Be lord over your brothers.

Let your mother’s sons bow down to you.

Cursed be everyone who curses you.

Blessed be everyone who blesses you."(Genesis 27:28,29)

Moreover your little ones, whom you said would be captured or killed, your children, who today have no knowledge of good or evil, shall go in there. I will give it to them, and they shall possess it.(Deuteronomy 1:39)

"Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.(Exodus 20:12)

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with a promise: "that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth."(Ephesians 6:1-3)

Children, obey your parents in all things, for this pleases the Lord.(Colossians 3:20)

The proverbs of Solomon.

A wise son makes a glad father;

but a foolish son brings grief to his mother.(Proverbs 10:1)

Children’s children are the crown of old men;

the glory of children is their parents.(Proverbs 17:6)

A righteous man walks in integrity.

Blessed are his children after him.(Proverbs 20:7)

But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them learn first to show piety toward their own family and to repay their parents, for this is acceptable in the sight of God.(1 Timothy 5:4)
