"No one is able to serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.
But, you should not even talk about fornication or any form of moral corruption or insatiableness such things is out of the question, but why can’t we talk about them? If you talk about it you will think about it, which will provide an opening for temptation. (as is fitting for saints);
Contentamento
Then He said to them, "Keep alert and guard against covetousness, because one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."
Well, what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?
"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on the earth, where moth and rust ruin and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust ruins and where thieves neither break in nor steal;
Riqueza ilusória
As riquezas são passageiras. Quem ama o dinheiro nunca terá o suficiente.
