A generosidade é marca do caráter de Deus e vocação do cristão. Deus ama ao que dá com alegria. Quem semeia generosamente, generosamente colherá.

God gives seed to farmers and provides everyone with food. He will increase what you have, so you can give even more to those in need. You will be blessed in every way, and you will be able to keep on being generous. Then many people will thank God when we deliver your gift.
What you are doing is much more than a service that supplies God’s people with what they need. It is something that will make many others thank God.

There will always be some Israelites who are poor and needy. That’s why I am commanding you to be generous with them.

As bad as you are, you still know how to give good gifts to your children. But your heavenly Father is even more ready to give the Holy Spirit to anyone who asks.
When people ask you for something, give it to them. When they want to borrow money, lend it to them.
When you give to the poor, don’t blow a loud horn. That’s what show-offs do in the synagogues and on the street corners, because they are always looking for praise. I can assure you that they already have their reward.
When you give to the poor, don’t let anyone know about it.Then your gift will be given in secret. Your Father knows what is done in secret and will reward you.
The king will answer, "Whenever you did it for any of my people, no matter how unimportant they seemed, you did it for me."

Se Deus dá sabedoria generosamente a quem pede, quanto mais nos dará Ele forças e suprimento em toda necessidade?
If any of you need wisdom, you should ask God, and it will be given to you. God is generous and won’t correct you for asking.
If you know someone who doesn’t have any clothes or food, you shouldn’t just say, "I hope all goes well for you. I hope you will be warm and have plenty to eat." What good is it to say this, unless you do something to help? Faith that doesn’t lead us to do good deeds is all alone and dead!
The Lord gives strength
to those who are weary.
Life will go well for those
who freely lend
and are honest in business.
