Generosidade
A generosidade é marca do caráter de Deus e vocação do cristão. Deus ama ao que dá com alegria. Quem semeia generosamente, generosamente colherá.
Dar com alegria
Deus ama ao que dá com alegria. Cada um contribua segundo propôs no coração — não com tristeza ou por necessidade.
7 each according as he is purposed in his heart; not grievingly, or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
6 But this {is true}, he that sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he that sows in {the spirit of} blessing shall reap also in blessing:7 each according as he is purposed in his heart; not grievingly, or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.8 But God is able to make every gracious gift abound towards you, that, having in every way always all-sufficiency, ye may abound to every good work:9 according as it is written, He has scattered abroad, he has given to the poor, his righteousness remains for ever.10 Now he that supplies seed to the sower and bread for eating shall supply and make abundant your sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness:11 enriched in every way unto all free-hearted liberality, which works through us thanksgiving to God.12 Because the ministration of this service is not only filling up the measure of what is lacking to the saints, but also abounding by many thanksgivings to God;

Quem dá aos pobres empresta ao Senhor. A generosidade abre portas de bênção sobre quem dá e sobre quem recebe.

Generosidade de Deus
Se Deus dá sabedoria generosamente a quem pede, quanto mais nos dará Ele forças e suprimento em toda necessidade?
5 But if any one of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all freely and reproaches not, and it shall be given to him:
15 Now if a brother or a sister is naked and destitute of daily food,16 and one from amongst you say to them, Go in peace, be warmed and filled; but give not to them the needful things for the body, what {is} the profit?17 So also faith, if it have not works, is dead by itself.
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to him that hath no might he increaseth strength.
5 It is well with the man that is gracious and lendeth; he will sustain his cause in judgment.
