A generosidade é marca do caráter de Deus e vocação do cristão. Deus ama ao que dá com alegria. Quem semeia generosamente, generosamente colherá.
Dar com alegria
Deus ama ao que dá com alegria. Cada um contribua segundo propôs no coração — não com tristeza ou por necessidade.
7 Let each [one give] just as he decides in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

Quem dá aos pobres empresta ao Senhor. A generosidade abre portas de bênção sobre quem dá e sobre quem recebe.

Generosidade de Deus
Se Deus dá sabedoria generosamente a quem pede, quanto mais nos dará Ele forças e suprimento em toda necessidade?
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it shall be given to him.
15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food,16 and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and filled,"but you do not give them the necessary things of the body, what [is] the benefit?17 Thus also that faith, if it does not have works, is dead, [being] by itself.
