A generosidade é marca do caráter de Deus e vocação do cristão. Deus ama ao que dá com alegria. Quem semeia generosamente, generosamente colherá.

Deus ama ao que dá com alegria. Cada um contribua segundo propôs no coração — não com tristeza ou por necessidade.
Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God.

So if you, despite being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?"

Se Deus dá sabedoria generosamente a quem pede, quanto mais nos dará Ele forças e suprimento em toda necessidade?
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and be filled," yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? In the same way, faith also, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.
He gives strength to the weary,
And to the one who lacks might He increases power.
It goes well for a person who is gracious and lends;
He will maintain his cause in judgment.
