Seja gentil
A vossa gentileza seja conhecida de todos. A palavra branda desvia a ira, e a boa conduta atrai os que estão distantes.
Anger slays even wise men; yet a submissive answer turns away wrath: but a grievous word stirs up anger.
Good words are honeycombs, and the sweetness thereof is a healing of the soul.
Gentileza como fruto
O fruto do Espírito inclui bondade e amabilidade. Amem uns aos outros com afeição fraternal e tratem bem a todos.
Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, so thou shalt not bear sin on his account. And thy hand shall not avenge thee; and thou shalt not be angry with the children of thy people; and thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself; I am the Lord.
Thus saith the Lord Almighty;
Judge righteous judgment, and deal mercifully and compassionately every one with his brother: and oppress not the widow, or the fatherless, or the stranger, or the poor; and let not one of you remember in his heart the injury of his brother.
