5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord [is] near.

1 A soft answer turns away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger.

24 Pleasant words [are as] a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and medicine to the bones.

5 Walk in wisdom towards outsiders, winning the occasion.6 Let your word [be] always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer each one.

12 Clothed, therefore, (as the elect of God, holy and beloved) with bowels of mercies, with kindness, with humility, with meekness, with tolerance,

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is [this]: Charity, joy, peace, tolerance, gentleness, goodness, faith,23 meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

10 Therefore as long as we have the opportunity, let us do good unto everyone, especially unto those who are of the household of faith.

1 Let brotherly love continue.2 Do not forget to show hospitality; for thereby some, having entertained angels, were kept.

13 Let us, therefore, not judge one another any more, but judge this rather: that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in [his] brother's way.

17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart; thou shalt rebuke thy neighbour in sincerity, that thou not bear sin for him.18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the sons of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. I [am] the LORD.

9 Thus hath the LORD of the hosts spoken, saying, Execute true judgment, and show mercy and compassion each one to his brother;10 and do not oppress the widow nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receives whomsoever I send receives me, and he that receives me receives him that sent me.
