5 Let all men know your forbearance. The Lord is at hand.

1 A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

24 Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.

5 Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time.6 Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer every one.

12 Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, and patience,

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,23 gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law.

10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

1 Let brotherly love continue.2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

13 Then let us no more pass judgment on one another, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.

17 "You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason with your neighbor, lest you bear sin because of him.18 You shall not take vengeance or bear any grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.

9 "Thus says the LORD of hosts, Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy each to his brother,10 do not oppress the widow, the fatherless, the sojourner, or the poor; and let none of you devise evil against his brother in your heart."

20 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who receives any one whom I send receives me; and he who receives me receives him who sent me."
