5 Let your moderation be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are outside the church, redeeming the time.6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, tender mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,23 Meekness, self–control: against such there is no law.

10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good to all men, especially to them who are of the household of faith.

1 Let brotherly love continue.2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for by this some have entertained angels unawares.

13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.

17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thy heart: thou shalt surely rebuke thy neighbour, and not allow sin upon him. and…: or, that thou bear not sin for him18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

9 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and show mercy and compassions every man to his brother: Execute…: Heb. Judge judgment of truth10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

20 Verily, verily, I say to you, He that receiveth whomever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
