4 For everything God has created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude;

12 I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has granted me [the needed] strength and made me able for this, because He considered me faithful and trustworthy, putting me into service [for this ministry],

1 First of all, then, I urge that petitions (specific requests), prayers, intercessions (prayers for others) and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all people,

12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints (God’s people) in the Light.

7 having been deeply rooted [in Him] and now being continually built up in Him and [becoming increasingly more] established *in your faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing in it with gratitude.

15 Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always].

17 I will give thanks to the Lord according to His righteousness and justice,

And I will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.

14 "Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving

And pay your vows to the Most High;

30 I will praise the name of God with song

And magnify Him with thanksgiving.

4 May all those who seek You [as life’s first priority] rejoice and be glad in You;

May those who love Your salvation say continually,

"Let God be magnified!"

1 We give thanks and praise to You, O God, we give thanks,

For Your [wonderful works declare that Your] *name is near;

People declare Your wonders.

13 So we Your people, the sheep of Your pasture,

Will give You thanks forever;

We will declare and publish Your praise from generation to generation.

4 Enter His gates with a song of thanksgiving

And His courts with praise.

Be thankful to Him, bless and praise His name.

11 You have turned my mourning into dancing for me;

You have taken off my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,

12 That my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent.

O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

8 O give thanks to the Lord, call on His name;

Make His deeds known among the peoples.

34 O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;

For His lovingkindness endures forever.

6 Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God.

20 always giving thanks to God the Father for all things, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

4 Let there be no filthiness and silly talk, or coarse [obscene or vulgar] joking, because such things are not appropriate [for believers]; but instead speak of your thankfulness [to God].

11 You will be enriched in every way so that you may be generous, and this [generosity, administered] through us is producing thanksgiving to God [from those who benefit].

15 For all [these] things are for your sake, so that as [God’s remarkable, undeserved] grace reaches to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of [our great] God.

18 in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.

17 saying,

"To You we give thanks, O Lord God Almighty [the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all], Who are and Who were, because You have taken Your great power and the sovereignty [which is rightly Yours] and have [now] begun to reign.

9 "But [as for me], I will sacrifice to You

With the voice of thanksgiving;

I shall pay that which I have vowed.

Salvation is from the Lord!"
