A gratidão ao Senhor é resposta de amor diante da bondade divina. Louvar a Deus com cântico e magnificá-lo com ação de graças — isso é o que agrada ao Senhor.
Agradecer ao Senhor
Deus transformou nosso lamento em dança. Ele é digno de toda gratidão, em todo tempo e em toda circunstância.
11 Thou hast turned my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth and girded me with gladness;12 to the end that [I] may sing glory unto thee and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.:
30 I will praise the name of God with a song and will magnify him with praises.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving [and] into his courts with praise; be thankful unto him [and] bless his name.
4 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee, and let such as love thy saving health say continually, Let God be magnified.
Gratidão constante
Em tudo dai graças. Tudo o que Deus criou é bom, quando recebido com ação de graças e paz no coração.
18 In every thing give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
4 For everything that God created [is] good, and nothing [is] to be refused, if it is received with thanksgiving,5 for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, into which likewise ye are called into one body, and be ye thankful.
9 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay [that] which I have vowed; that saving comes of the LORD.
