A gratidão ao Senhor é resposta de amor diante da bondade divina. Louvar a Deus com cântico e magnificá-lo com ação de graças — isso é o que agrada ao Senhor.
Agradecer ao Senhor
Deus transformou nosso lamento em dança. Ele é digno de toda gratidão, em todo tempo e em toda circunstância.
You have turned my mourning to dancing for me, || You have loosed my sackcloth, || And gird me [with] joy. So that glory praises You, and is not silent, || O YHWH, my God, I thank You for all time!
I praise the Name of God with a song, || And I magnify Him with thanksgiving,
Enter His gates with thanksgiving, || His courts with praise, || Give thanks to Him, bless His Name.
Let all those seeking You rejoice and be glad in You, || And let those loving Your salvation || Continually say, "God is magnified."
Gratidão constante
Em tudo dai graças. Tudo o que Deus criou é bom, quando recebido com ação de graças e paz no coração.
give thanks in everything, for this [is] the will of God in Christ Jesus in regard to you.
because every creature of God [is] good, and nothing [is] to be rejected, with thanksgiving being received, for it is sanctified through the word of God and intercession.
and let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you were also called in one body, and become thankful.
And I—with a voice of thanksgiving—I sacrifice to You, || That which I have vowed I complete, || Salvation [is] of YHWH."
