O coração é a nascente de tudo — pensamentos, desejos, decisões. Guardá-lo é proteger toda a vida espiritual e emocional.
Above every charge keep your heart, || For out of it [are] the outgoings of life.
Give, my son, your heart to me, || And let your eyes watch my ways.
My son! Do not forget my law, || And let your heart keep my commands, For [the] length of [your] days and years, || Life and peace they add to you.
The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which [is] good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which [is] evil; for out of the abounding of the heart his mouth speaks.
Coração puro e renovado
Cria em mim um coração puro, ó Deus. Os puros de coração verão a Deus — e o Espírito renova nosso interior.
Create for me a clean heart, O God, || And renew a right spirit within me.
Blessed the clean in heart—because they will see God.
Search me, O God, and know my heart, || Try me, and know my thoughts, And see if a grievous way be in me, || And lead me in a perpetual way!
Try me, O YHWH, and prove me, || My reins and my heart [are] purified, For Your kindness [is] before my eyes, || And I have habitually walked in Your truth.
You have proved my heart, || You have inspected by night, || You have tried me, You find nothing; My thoughts do not pass over my mouth. As for doings of man, || Through a word of Your lips I have observed || The paths of a destroyer; To uphold my goings in Your paths, || My steps have not slipped.
My heart is prepared, O God, || My heart is prepared, || I sing and praise.
Guardar com a Palavra
Não vos conformeis com este mundo. A Palavra de Deus guardada no coração nos protege do pecado e nos direciona.
and do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, for your proving what [is] the will of God—the good, and acceptable, and perfect.
the scroll of this Law does not depart out of your mouth, and you have meditated in it by day and by night, so that you observe to do according to all that is written in it, for then you cause your way to prosper, and then you act wisely.
I have sought You with all my heart, || Do not let me err from Your commands. I have hid Your saying in my heart, || That I do not sin before You.
And you have loved your God YHWH with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. And these words which I am commanding you today have been on your heart,
and says to them, "Set your heart to all the words which I am testifying against you today, that you command your sons to observe to do all the words of this law,
Vigilância e paz
A paz de Deus guarda nossos corações em Cristo Jesus. Chegai-vos a Deus, purificai os corações — e Ele estará convosco.
be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer, and by supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, that is surpassing all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
draw near to God, and He will draw near to you; cleanse hands, you sinners! And purify hearts, you split-souled!
you also be patient; establish your hearts, because the coming of the LORD has drawn near;
If, then, you were raised with the Christ, seek the things above, where the Christ is, seated on the right hand of God;
