and you, O man of God, flee these things, and pursue righteousness, piety, faith, love, endurance, meekness.
let no one despise your youth, but become a pattern of those believing in word, in behavior, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity;
Watch, stand in the faith; be men, be strong; let all your things be done in love.
He has declared to you, O man, what [is] good; Indeed, what is YHWH requiring of you, || Except—to do judgment, and love kindness, || And to walk lowly with your God?

Noé era justo e íntegro entre seus contemporâneos. Jó era homem reto que temia a Deus e se desviava do mal.
These [are] the generations of Noah: Noah [is] a righteous man; he has been perfect among his generations; Noah has habitually walked with God.
There has been a man in the land of Uz—his name Job—and that man has been perfect and upright—both fearing God, and turning aside from evil.

Quem faz a vontade de Deus é eleito. Medite na Palavra e ande nos caminhos do Senhor como verdadeiro discípulo.
but as many as received Him, to them He gave authority to become sons of God—to those believing in His Name, who were begotten, not of blood, nor of will of flesh, nor of will of man, but of God.
And we have known that God does not hear sinners, but if anyone may be a worshiper of God, and may do His will, He hears him;
[BETH] With what does a young man purify his path? To observe—according to Your word. I have sought You with all my heart, || Do not let me err from Your commands. I have hid Your saying in my heart, || That I do not sin before You. Blessed [are] You, O YHWH, teach me Your statutes. With my lips I have recounted || All the judgments of Your mouth. I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, || As over all wealth. I meditate on Your precepts, || And I attentively behold Your paths. I delight myself in Your statutes, || I do not forget Your word.
O the blessedness of that one, || Who has not walked in the counsel of the wicked, || And has not stood in the way of sinners, || And has not sat in the seat of scorners; But his delight [is] in the Law of YHWH, || And in His law he meditates by day and by night: And he has been as a tree, || Planted by streams of water, || That gives its fruit in its season, || And its leaf does not wither, || And all that he does he causes to prosper. Not so the wicked: But [they are] as chaff that wind drives away! Therefore the wicked do not rise in judgment, || Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous, For YHWH is knowing the way of the righteous, || And the way of the wicked is lost!
concerning the former behavior you are to put off the old man, that is corrupt according to the desires of the deceit, and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and to put on the new man, which, according to God, was created in righteousness and kindness of the truth.
