12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death passed to all men, because all sinned—

45 Thus also it is written, "The first man Adam became a living being;" the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

46 However, that which is spiritual is not first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual. 47 The first man was from earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven. 48 Like the man made of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. 49 And just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, let us also bear the image of the heavenly Man.

6 But someone somewhere testified, saying:

"What is man that You are mindful of him,

or the son of man that You visit him?

22 that you put off, concerning your former way of life, the old man which is being corrupted according to deceitful lusts, 23 and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created in the likeness of God, in true righteousness and holiness.
