26 God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."27 God created man in his own image. In God's image he created him; male and female he created them.

8 They heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

12 Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; and so death passed to all men, because all sinned.

45 So also it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.46 However that which is spiritual is not first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual.47 The first man is of the earth, made of dust. The second man is from heaven.48 As is the one made of dust, such are those who are also made of dust; and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.49 As we have borne the image of those made of dust, we will also bear the image of the heavenly.

15 having abolished in the flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace;

11 But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness.

7 For let that man not think that he will receive anything from the Lord.8 He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
