12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death came through sin, in this way death has come to all men, because all have sinned.

45 And so it is written, "The first man Adam became a living being." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. 46 However, the spiritual body is not first, but the natural body, then the spiritual body. 47 The first man was from the earth, made of dust; the second man is *the Lord from heaven. 48 As was the man made of dust, so are those made of dust; and as is the heavenly man, so are those who are heavenly. 49 Just as we have borne the image of the man made of dust, *let us also bear the image of the heavenly man.

6 But in one place someone has testified:

"What is man that yoʋ are mindful of him,

or the son of man that yoʋ care for him?

22 to put off your old self, which belongs to your former way of life and is being corrupted by its deceitful desires, 23 to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24 and to put on the new self, created according to the image of God in true righteousness and holiness.
