God said, "Let’s make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them.(Genesis 1:26,27)

They heard Yahweh God’s voice walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Yahweh God among the trees of the garden.(Genesis 3:8)

Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin, so death passed to all men because all sinned.(Romans 5:12)

So also it is written, "The first man Adam became a living soul." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, that which is spiritual isn’t first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, made of dust. The second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the one made of dust, such are those who are also made of dust; and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. As we have borne the image of those made of dust, let’s also bear the image of the heavenly.(1 Corinthians 15:45-49)

A fragilidade humana e a soberania divina

"Man, who is born of a woman,

is of few days, and full of trouble.(Job 14:1)

‘Shall mortal man be more just than God?

Shall a man be more pure than his Maker?(Job 4:17)

What is man, that you should magnify him,

that you should set your mind on him,(Job 7:17)

But one has somewhere testified, saying,

"What is man, that you think of him?

Or the son of man, that you care for him?(Hebrews 2:6)

A man’s steps are from Yahweh;

how then can man understand his way?(Proverbs 20:24)

Yahweh says:

"Cursed is the man who trusts in man,

relies on strength of flesh,

and whose heart departs from Yahweh.(Jeremiah 17:5)

For that man shouldn’t think that he will receive anything from the Lord. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.(James 1:7,8)

Nenhuma atitude humana fica encoberta; os olhos do Senhor observam todos os caminhos:

For the ways of man are before Yahweh’s eyes.

He examines all his paths.(Proverbs 5:21)

The plans of the heart belong to man,

but the answer of the tongue is from Yahweh.(Proverbs 16:1)

that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.(Ephesians 4:22-24)

having abolished in his flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace,(Ephesians 2:15)

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now that I have become a man, I have put away childish things.(1 Corinthians 13:11)

But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.(1 Timothy 6:11)

Don’t rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father; the younger men as brothers;(1 Timothy 5:1)
