Ser imitador de Cristo é o chamado supremo do cristão. Paulo exortou: 'Sede meus imitadores, como eu sou de Cristo.' Fomos criados à imagem de Deus para refletir seu caráter.
Imitar a Cristo
Sede imitadores de Deus como filhos amados. Cristo se esvaziou e se humilhou — esse é o padrão que devemos seguir.
1 Therefore be imitators of God as beloved children.
5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,6 who, existing in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming to be in the likeness of men.8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself, becoming obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
1 Be imitators of me, just as I also [am] of Christ.
6 And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, in that you received the word in much tribulation, with joy of the Holy Spirit,
Criados à imagem de Deus
Deus nos criou à sua imagem e semelhança. Adorar em espírito e verdade é viver refletindo o caráter do Criador.
24 God [is] Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
