A Bíblia é fonte inesgotável de incentivo. Em cada página, Deus nos encoraja a não temer, a perseverar e a confiar que Ele está conosco e é maior que qualquer adversidade.
Deus é por nós
Se Deus é por nós, quem será contra nós? O Senhor fortalece, sustenta e guia seus filhos em cada batalha e desafio.
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [shall be] against us?
10 Do not fear for I [am] with thee; do not be dismayed, for I [am] thy God, who strengthens thee; I will help thee always; I will always uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
31 but those that wait for the LORD shall have new strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.:
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
6 Be strong and of a good courage; fear not, nor be afraid of them, for the LORD thy God is he that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee nor forsake thee.
7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of strength and of love and of temperance.
Esperança e perseverança
A tribulação produz perseverança, a perseverança produz caráter, e o caráter produz esperança que não decepciona.
3 And not only [this], but we even glory in the tribulations, knowing that the tribulation works patience;4 and patience, experience; and experience, hope;5 and the hope shall not be ashamed, because the love of God is poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us.
35 Do not lose, therefore, this your confidence, which has great recompense of reward;
10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer; behold, the devil shall cast [some] of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days; be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life.
33 These things I have spoken unto you that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.:
16 Therefore we fault not; but though our outward man is wearing out, yet the inward [man] is renewed day by day.17 For our tribulation, which is momentary and light, prepares an exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory unto us;18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen, for the things which are seen [are] temporal, but the things which are not seen [are] eternal.:
23 And Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe this, all things [are] possible to him that believes.
Deus cuida de nós
Entrega o teu caminho ao Senhor. Lança sobre Ele as tuas ansiedades, porque Ele tem cuidado de nós diariamente.
5 [Gimel] Turn thy way unto the LORD and wait in him, and he shall bring [it] to pass.
23 [Mem] The steps of a [good] man are ordered by the LORD, and he delights in his way.24 Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the LORD upholds [him with] his hand.
22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee; he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
1 A Song of degrees. In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he answered me.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people that have set [themselves] against me round about.
Futuro e promessas
Eu sei os planos que tenho para vocês — planos de paz e não de mal, para dar-lhes futuro e esperança.
11 For I know the thoughts that I think concerning you, said the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you the end that you wait for.
17 The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save; he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love; he will joy over thee with singing.
26 But Jesus beheld [them] and said unto them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
9 But as it is written, That which eye has not seen nor ear heard neither has entered into the heart of man [is] that which God has prepared for those that love him.
12 But he stood in the midst of the inheritance and defended it and slew the Philistines, and the LORD wrought a great salvation.
