A Bíblia é fonte inesgotável de incentivo. Em cada página, Deus nos encoraja a não temer, a perseverar e a confiar que Ele está conosco e é maior que qualquer adversidade.
Deus é por nós
Se Deus é por nós, quem será contra nós? O Senhor fortalece, sustenta e guia seus filhos em cada batalha e desafio.
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [can be] against us?
10 Do not fear; for I [am] with you; be not dismayed; for I [am] your God. I will make you strong; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.
31 but those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up [with] wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
6 Be strong and of a good courage. Do not fear nor be afraid of them. For the LORD your God [is] He who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.
7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Esperança e perseverança
A tribulação produz perseverança, a perseverança produz caráter, e o caráter produz esperança que não decepciona.
3 And not only [this], but we glory in afflictions also, knowing that afflictions work out patience,4 and patience [works out] experience, and experience [works out] hope.5 And hope does not make [us] ashamed, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through [the] Holy Spirit given to us.
35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great [recompense of] reward.
10 Do not at all fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the Devil will cast [some] of you into prison, so that you may be tried. And you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.
33 I have spoken these things to you so that you might have peace in Me. In the world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world.
16 For this cause we do not faint; but though our outward man perishes, yet the inward [man] is being renewed day by day.17 For the lightness of our present affliction works out for us a far more excellent eternal weight of glory,18 we not considering the things which are seen, but the things which are not seen; for the things which [are] seen [are] not lasting, but the things which [are] not seen [are] everlasting.
23 Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things [are] possible to him who believes.
Deus cuida de nós
Entrega o teu caminho ao Senhor. Lança sobre Ele as tuas ansiedades, porque Ele tem cuidado de nós diariamente.
5 Roll your way on the LORD; trust also in Him, and He will work.
23 The steps of a [good] man are ordered by the LORD; and He delights in his way.24 Though he fall, he shall not be cast down; for the LORD upholds his hand.
22 Cast your burden on the LORD, and He will keep you; He will never allow the righteous to waver.
1 A Song of degrees. In my trouble I cried to the LORD, and He heard me.
6 I am not afraid of ten thousands of people who have set against me all around.
Futuro e promessas
Eu sei os planos que tenho para vocês — planos de paz e não de mal, para dar-lhes futuro e esperança.
11 For I know the purposes which I am purposing for you, says the LORD; purposes of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
17 The LORD your God [is] mighty in your midst; He will save, He will rejoice over you with joy; He is silent in His love; He rejoices over you with joyful shout.
26 But Jesus looked on [them] and said to them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
9 But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.
12 But he stood in the middle of the ground and delivered it, and killed the Philistines. And the LORD worked a great victory.
