Aproximar-se de Deus
Chegai-vos a Deus e Ele se chegará a vós. Deus deseja intimidade, não religiosidade. Ele busca os que o buscam de todo coração.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Sede de Deus
Como a corça deseja as correntes de água, assim a minha alma suspira por ti, ó Deus. A intimidade nasce do desejo profundo.
Unidade com o Pai
Jesus orou pela unidade dos seus com o Pai. A intimidade com Deus inclui confissão, perdão e alegria na comunhão.
And the glory which You have given to Me, I have given to them, so that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; so that they may be perfected in unity, and so that the world may know that You have sent Me, and You loved them just as You loved Me.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
