Intimidade com Deus: versículos e o chamado à comunhão
O chamado bíblico para se aproximar de Deus
A Bíblia ensina que a intimidade com Deus não é um ritual religioso, mas uma relação direta de reciprocidade: quem se aproxima dele com sinceridade encontra acolhimento imediato. Em Tiago 4:8, o princípio é claro — a decisão de buscar a Deus é correspondida pela presença ativa dele na vida de quem o procura.
Come close to God and He will come close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.(James 4:8)
Esse convite não depende de mérito, mas da disposição em ouvir e falar com o Criador. Em Jeremias 33:3 e Isaías 55:1-6, Deus convoca o ser humano para o diálogo, prometendo revelar verdades profundas àqueles que o buscam enquanto se pode achar.
‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’(Jeremiah 33:3)
"You there! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters;
And you who have no money come, buy and eat.
Come, buy wine and milk
Without money and without cost.
"Why do you spend money for what is not bread,
And your wages for what does not satisfy?
Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good,
And delight yourself in abundance.
"Incline your ear and come to Me.
Listen, that you may live;
And I will make an everlasting covenant with you,
According to the faithful mercies shown to David.
"Behold, I have made him a witness to the peoples,
A leader and commander for the peoples.
"Behold, you will call a nation you do not know,
And a nation which does not know you will run to you,
Because of the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel;
For He has glorified you."
Seek the Lord while He may be found;
Call upon Him while He is near.(Isaiah 55:1-6)
A resposta divina a essa busca não é distante. Em Isaías 65:24, Deus afirma que ouve a oração antes mesmo que as palavras sejam concluídas, sustentando o cuidado e o futuro esperançoso prometidos em Jeremias 29:11.
It will also come to pass that before they call, I will answer; while they are still speaking, I will listen.(Isaiah 65:24)
For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.(Jeremiah 29:11)
A sede e o anseio pela presença diária
A intimidade na Escritura é tratada como uma necessidade vital, comparada à fome e à sede física. No Salmo 42, a busca por Deus é retratada pelo anseio da corça pelas fontes de água viva em tempos de seca.
As the deer pants for the water brooks,
So my soul pants for You, God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God;
When shall I come and appear before God?(Psalm 42:1,2)
No Salmo 63, Davi descreve essa mesma dependência no deserto de Judá. Longe de qualquer conforto material, a verdadeira satisfação da alma é encontrada na lembrança e na comunhão com o Senhor durante as vigílias da noite.
God, You are my God; I shall be watching for You;
My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You,
In a dry and exhausted land where there is no water.
So have I seen You in the sanctuary,
To see Your power and glory.
Because Your favor is better than life,
My lips will praise You.
So I will bless You as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name.
My soul is satisfied as with fat and fatness,
And my mouth offers praises with joyful lips.
When I remember You on my bed,
I meditate on You in the night watches,
For You have been my help,
And in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy.
My soul clings to You;
Your right hand takes hold of me.
But those who seek my life to destroy it,
Will go into the depths of the earth.
They will be turned over to the power of the sword;
They will be a prey for foxes.
But the king will rejoice in God;
Everyone who swears by Him will boast,
For the mouths of those who speak lies will be stopped.(Psalm 63:1-11)
Comunhão real e reconciliação
No Evangelho, a intimidade chega ao ponto máximo por meio de Jesus. Em João 17, durante a oração sacerdotal, Cristo pede ao Pai que os discípulos participem da mesma perfeita unidade que existe entre o Filho e o Pai.
The glory which You have given Me I also have given to them, so that they may be one, just as We are one;I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and You loved them, just as You loved Me.(John 17:22,23)
Para viver essa relação sem barreiras, o caminho é a transparência. O texto de 1 João 1:9 lembra que a confissão sincera de pecados remove a culpa e restabelece a proximidade, permitindo experimentar o descanso descrito pelo profeta em Sofonias 3:17, onde Deus se alegra em renovar o seu povo pelo amor.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.(1 John 1:9)
"The Lord your God is in your midst,
A victorious warrior.
He will rejoice over you with joy,
He will be quiet in His love,
He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.(Zephaniah 3:17)
