And his mother and his brothers arrived, and standing outside, they sent word to him to summon him. And a crowd was sitting around him, and they told him, "Behold, your mother and your brothers are outside looking for you." And he answered them and said, "Who is my mother or my brothers?" And looking around at those who were sitting around him in a circle, he said, "Behold, my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of God, this person is my brother and sister and mother."

For no one does anything in secret and yet he himself desires to be publicly recognized. If you are doing these things, reveal yourself to the world!" (For not even his brothers believed in him.)

Jesus said to her, "Do not touch me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, and my God and your God.’ "

All these were busily engaged with one mind in prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus and with his brothers.

but I did not see any others of the apostles except James, the brother of the Lord.

For it was fitting for him for whom are all things and through whom are all things in bringing many sons to glory to perfect the originator of their salvation through sufferings. For both the one who sanctifies and the ones who are sanctified are all from one, for which reason he is not ashamed to call them brothers,
