Ninguém tem maior amor do que aquele que dá a vida pelos amigos. Jesus demonstrou o amor supremo na cruz do Calvário.
13 No one has greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
9 As the Father has loved Me, so I have loved you; continue in My love.
23 Jesus answered and said to him, If a man loves Me, he will keep My Word. And My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.
34 I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. As I have loved you, you should also love one another.

8 But God commends His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.
2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given Himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor.
16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man;17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,18 may be able to comprehend with all saints what [is] the breadth and length and depth and height,19 and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.
19 We love Him because He first loved us.
14 [And] the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love in Christ Jesus.
