Deus tem planos maravilhosos para os jovens. A Bíblia os convida a consagrar a juventude ao Senhor, crescer em sabedoria e ser exemplo para todos em fé, palavra, conduta e amor.
Ninguém despreze a tua mocidade
Paulo exortou Timóteo: sê exemplo dos fiéis na palavra, no procedimento, no amor, no espírito, na fé e na pureza.
Lembrar do Criador na juventude
Lembra-te do teu Criador nos dias da tua mocidade. A sabedoria ganha cedo produz frutos duradouros na vida inteira.

Better is a poor and wise child
Than an old and foolish king,
Who knows not how to take heed any longer.
Força e promessa
Os jovens renovam suas forças quando esperam no Senhor. Deus levanta jovens com visões e sonhos para transformar o mundo.
For the young men shall hunger, and the youths shall be weary, and the choice men shall be powerless: but they that wait on God shall renew their strength; they shall put forth new feathers like eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not hunger.
Wisdom is an ornament to young men;
And gray hairs are the glory of old men.
A youth when in company with a godly man, will be restrained in his devices,
And then his way will be straight.
Guardar o caminho
Como purificará o jovem seu caminho? Guardando-o segundo a tua Palavra. A Escritura na juventude guarda do pecado a vida inteira.

Let them praise the name of the Lord:

His praise is above the earth and heaven,
The Proverbs of Solomon son of David,
Who reigned in Israel;
To know wisdom and instruction,
And to perceive words of understanding;
To receive also hard sayings,
And to understand true justice,
And how to direct judgment;
That he might give subtlety to the simple,
And to the young man discernment and understanding.
Hear, my son, and be wise,
And rightly direct the thoughts of thy heart.
Be not a wine bibber,
Neither continue long at feasts, and purchases of flesh:
For every drunkard and whoremonger shall be poor;
And every sluggard shall clothe himself with tatters and ragged garments.
Hearken, my son, to thy father which begot thee,
And despise not thy mother because she is grown old.
Coragem e vocação
Deus chamou jovens como Jeremias e Josué para grandes missões. A juventude não é desculpa — é oportunidade de servir poderosamente.
And I said, O Lord, thou that art supreme Lord, behold, I know not how to speak, for I am a child. And the Lord said to me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all to whomsoever I shall send thee, and according to all the words that I shall command thee, thou shalt speak. Be not afraid before them: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord.
Be strong, therefore, and quit thyself like a man, to observe and do as Moses my servant commanded thee; and thou shalt not turn therefrom to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest be wise in whatsoever thou mayest do. And the book of this law shall not depart out of thy mouth, and thou shalt meditate in it day and night, that thou mayest know how to do all the things that are written in it; then shalt thou prosper, and make thy ways prosperous, and then shalt thou be wise. Lo! I have commanded thee; be strong and courageous, be not cowardly nor fearful, for the Lord thy God is with thee in all places whither thou goest.
It is good for a man
When he bears a yoke in his youth.
