Para quando diminuem o seu valor pela idade
A juventude não é uma fase de espera para ter valor diante de Deus. A Bíblia ensina que você não precisa esperar a vida adulta para ser referência em maturidade, integridade e fé.
Let no man despise your youth; but be an example to those who believe, in word, in your way of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity.(1 Timothy 4:12)
Tira a necessidade de se defender em discussões e transfere a sua autoridade para o exemplo prático no falar, no amor e na pureza.
Likewise, you younger ones, be subject to the elder. Yes, all of you clothe yourselves with humility and subject yourselves to one another; for "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time,(1 Peter 5:5,6)
Livra você da armadilha da arrogância e ensina a confiar no tempo de Deus para o seu crescimento.
Para fazer escolhas certas e guardar o coração
No meio de tantas pressões sociais e apelos rápidos, manter o rumo exige critérios claros para além da opinião dos outros.
How can a young man keep his way pure?
By living according to your word.(Psalms 119:9)
Oferece um filtro diário para proteger a sua mente e orientar as decisões que ninguém mais vê.
Rejoice, young man, in your youth,
and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth,
and walk in the ways of your heart,
and in the sight of your eyes;
but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.(Ecclesiastes 11:9)
Tira a culpa de desfrutar a juventude, trazendo a consciência madura de que cada atitude constrói o seu amanhã.
Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth,
before the evil days come, and the years draw near,
when you will say, "I have no pleasure in them;"(Ecclesiastes 12:1)
Cura a ilusão de adiar o compromisso com Deus para a velhice e consagra a sua melhor energia enquanto há tempo.
Para o cansaço e o medo do futuro
Cobranças sobre vestibulares, carreira e rumos da vida esgotam até quem tem vitalidade de sobra. Deus não exige que você carregue o peso do amanhã sozinho.
Even the youths faint and get weary,
and the young men utterly fall;
but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength.
They will mount up with wings like eagles.
They will run, and not be weary.
They will walk, and not faint.(Isaiah 40:30,31)
Alivia a culpa pelo esgotamento físico e emocional, lembrando que a sua renovação diária não depende do seu próprio fôlego.
Only be strong and very courageous. Be careful to observe to do according to all the law which Moses my servant commanded you. Don’t turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go. This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success. Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God" (Elohim). is with you wherever you go."(Joshua 1:7-9)
Afasta o medo de errar em novas fases com a garantia de que a presença de Deus entra antes de você em território desconhecido.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. I will be found by you," says Yahweh, "and I will turn again your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places where I have driven you," says Yahweh. "I will bring you again to the place from where I caused you to be carried away captive."(Jeremiah 29:11-14)
Desarma a ansiedade com o futuro ao ancorar as suas incertezas no plano de paz e esperança que Deus já traçou.
Para vencer o desânimo e viver com propósito
Deus nunca esperou que você tivesse anos de currículo para poder agir na sua história e na dos outros.
Then I said, "Ah, Lord Yahweh! Behold,", means look at, take notice, observe, see, or gaze at. It is often used as an interjection. I don’t know how to speak; for I am a child."
But Yahweh said to me, "Don’t say, ‘I am a child;’ for you must go to whomever I send you, and you must say whatever I command you. Don’t be afraid because of them, for I am with you to rescue you," says Yahweh.(Jeremiah 1:6-8)
Derruba a desculpa da pouca experiência e firma a convicção de que a autoridade vem de quem envia, não da idade de quem vai.
I have written to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning.
I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God remains in you, and you have overcome the evil one.(1 John 2:14)
Lembra que a sua força contra a pressão do mundo não vem da sua autossuficiência, mas da Palavra viva guardada em você.
