14 For God will bring every act to judgment,  * including every hidden thing, whether good or evil.

21 And just as the Father raises*the dead and gives them life, so the Son also gives life to whom he wants.*22 The Father,*in fact, judges no one but has given all judgment to the Son,23 so that all people may honor the Son just as they honor the Father.*Anyone who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.*

24 "Truly I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life*and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life.

25 "Truly I tell you, an hour is coming, and is now here,*when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.*26 For just as the Father has life in himself, so also he has granted to the Son*to have life in himself.27 And he has granted him the right to pass judgment,*because he is the Son of Man.*28 Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear his voice 29 and come out — those who have done good things, to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked things, to the resurrection of condemnation.

30 "I can do nothing on my own. I judge only as I hear, and my judgment*is just,*because I do not seek my own will, but the will of him who sent me.*

31 "If I testify about myself, my testimony is not true.

7 Nevertheless, I am telling you the truth.*It is for your benefit that I go away, because if I don’t go away the Counselor will not come to you. If I go, I will send him to you.*8 When he comes, he will convict the world about sin, righteousness, and judgment: 9 About sin, because they do not believe in me;

30 Jesus responded, "This voice came, not for me, but for you.*31 Now is the judgment of this world.*Now the ruler of this world*will be cast out.*32 As for me, if I am lifted up*from the earth I will draw all people to myself."*

38 "I believe, Lord! " he said, and he worshiped him.

39 Jesus said, "I came into this world*for judgment,*in order that those who do not see will see and those who do see will become blind."*

1 Welcome  * anyone who is weak in faith,  * but don’t argue about disputed matters. 2 One person believes he may eat anything,  * while one who is weak eats only vegetables. 3 One who eats must not look down on one who does not eat,  * and one who does not eat must not judge one who does,  * because God has accepted him.  *4 Who are you to judge  * another’s household servant? Before his own Lord he stands or falls. And he will stand, because the Lord is able  * to make him stand.

12 So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.  *

13 Therefore, let us no longer judge one another.  * Instead decide never to put a stumbling block or pitfall in the way of your brother or sister.  *14 I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself.  * Still, to someone who considers a thing to be unclean, to that one it is unclean.  *

17 For the time has come for judgment  * to begin with God’s household,  * and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who disobey the gospel of God?

5 So don’t judge  * anything prematurely, before the Lord comes,  * who will both bring to light what is hidden in darkness and reveal the intentions of the hearts. And then praise will come to each one from God.  *

2 For you will be judged by the same standard with which you judge others, and you will be measured by the same measure you use.*3 Why do you look at the splinter in your brother’s eye but don’t notice the beam of wood in your own eye?*4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the splinter out of your eye,’ and look, there’s a beam of wood in your own eye?

6 "Therefore tell the Israelites: I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from the forced labor of the Egyptians and rescue you from slavery to them. I will redeem you with an outstretched arm  * and great acts of judgment.

12 "I will pass through  * the land of Egypt on that night and strike every firstborn male in the land of Egypt, both people and animals. I am the Lord; I will execute judgments against all the gods of Egypt.  *

4 Against you — you alone — I have sinned

and done this evil in your sight.  *

So you are right when you pass sentence;

you are blameless when you judge.  *

8 Zion hears and is glad,

Judah’s villages  * rejoice

because of your judgments,  Lord.  *

6 then smashing all the carvings

with hatchets and picks.  *

7 They set your sanctuary on fire;

they utterly  * desecrated

the dwelling place of your name.  *

1 After this I heard something like the loud voice of a vast multitude  * in heaven, saying,

Hallelujah!  *

Salvation, glory, and power belong to our God,  *

2 because his judgments are true  * and righteous,  *

because he has judged the notorious prostitute  *

who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality;

and he has avenged the blood of his servants

that was on her hands.  *

3 A second time they said,

Hallelujah!

Her smoke ascends forever and ever!  *
