But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.(Matthew 6:33)
To do righteousness and justice
Is more acceptable to Jehovah than sacrifice.(Proverbs 21:3)
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes;
But Jehovah weigheth the hearts.(Proverbs 21:2)
He that followeth after righteousness and kindness
Findeth life, righteousness, and honor.(Proverbs 21:21)
The wicked earneth deceitful wages;
But he that soweth righteousness hath a sure reward.(Proverbs 11:18)
Treasures of wickedness profit nothing;
But righteousness delivereth from death.(Proverbs 10:2)
Him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.(2 Corinthians 5:21)
For the grace of God hath appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us, to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in this present world;(Titus 2:11,12)
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.(1 Timothy 6:11)
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.(Philippians 4:8)
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.(Galatians 6:7)
And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.(Galatians 6:9)
Como a justiça se manifesta na prática
A justiça bíblica produz frutos visíveis no cotidiano.
And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace for them that make peace.(James 3:18)
Confess therefore your sins one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The supplication of a righteous man availeth much in its working.(James 5:16)
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye doubleminded.(James 4:8)
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked,
Nor standeth in the way of sinners,
Nor sitteth in the seat of scoffers:(Psalms 1:1)
The eyes of Jehovah are toward the righteous,
And his ears are open unto their cry.(Psalms 34:15)
For Jehovah loveth justice,
And forsaketh not his saints;
They are preserved for ever:
But the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.(Psalms 37:28)
For he shall never be moved;
The righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance.(Psalms 112:6)
With my whole heart have I sought thee:
Oh let me not wander from thy commandments.(Psalms 119:10)
O juízo e a retribuição do Senhor
who will render to every man according to his works:(Romans 2:6)
See that none render unto any one evil for evil; but always follow after that which is good, one toward another, and toward all.(1 Thessalonians 5:15)
But even if ye should suffer for righteousness’ sake, blessed are ye: and fear not their fear, neither be troubled;(1 Peter 3:14)
And if ye do good to them that do good to you, what thank have ye? for even sinners do the same.(Luke 6:33)
It is a snare to a man rashly to say, It is holy,
And after vows to make inquiry.(Proverbs 20:25)
