Justiça
A justiça é atributo de Deus e vocação do cristão. A Bíblia chama os crentes a buscar a justiça, praticar o que é reto e confiar no Deus que julga justamente.
Buscar a justiça
Buscai primeiro o Reino de Deus e a sua justiça. Quem semeia justiça colherá galardão seguro e duradouro.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.
18 The wicked worketh a deceitful work; but he that soweth righteousness hath a sure reward.
21 He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.
3 To exercise justice and judgment is more acceptable to Jehovah than sacrifice.
2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes; but Jehovah weigheth the hearts.
2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing; but righteousness delivereth from death.
Justiça em Cristo
Deus tornou Cristo a nossa justiça. Pela fé somos declarados justos diante de Deus — não por obras, mas pela graça.
21 Him who knew not sin he has made sin for us, that *we* might become God's righteousness in him.
11 For the grace of God which carries with it salvation for all men has appeared,12 teaching us that, having denied impiety and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, and justly, and piously in the present course of things,
11 But *thou*, O man of God, flee these things, and pursue righteousness, piety, faith, love, endurance, meekness of spirit.
8 For the rest, brethren, whatsoever things {are} true, whatsoever things {are} noble, whatsoever things {are} just, whatsoever things {are} pure, whatsoever things {are} amiable, whatsoever things {are} of good report; if {there be} any virtue and if any praise, think on these things.
7 Be not deceived: God is not mocked; for whatever a man shall sow, that also shall he reap.
9 but let us not lose heart in doing good; for in due time, if we do not faint, we shall reap.
Praticar a justiça
O fruto da justiça semeia-se em paz para os que promovem a paz. Os olhos do Senhor estão sobre os justos.
18 But {the} fruit of righteousness in peace is sown for them that make peace.
16 Confess therefore your offences to one another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. {The} fervent supplication of the righteous {man} has much power.
8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse {your} hands, sinners, and purify {your} hearts, ye double-minded.
28 for Jehovah loveth judgment, and will not forsake his saints: They are preserved for ever; but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
15 The eyes of Jehovah are upon the righteous, and his ears are toward their cry;
6 For he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, and standeth not in the way of sinners, and sitteth not in the seat of scorners;
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: let me not wander from thy commandments.
Consequências
O Senhor recompensará cada um segundo suas obras. A justiça exalta a nação e traz segurança aos que a praticam.
6 who shall render to each according to his works:
15 See that no one render to any evil for evil, but pursue always what is good towards one another and towards all;
14 But if also ye should suffer for righteousness' sake, blessed {are ye}; but be not afraid of their fear, neither be troubled;
33 And if ye do good to those that do good to you, what thank is it to you? for even sinners do the same.
25 It is a snare to a man rashly to say, It is hallowed, and after vows to make inquiry.
