But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33)
To do righteousness and justice
is more acceptable to Yahweh than sacrifice.(Proverbs 21:3)
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes,
but Yahweh weighs the hearts.(Proverbs 21:2)
He who follows after righteousness and kindness
finds life, righteousness, and honor.(Proverbs 21:21)
Wicked people earn deceitful wages,
but one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.(Proverbs 11:18)
Treasures of wickedness profit nothing,
but righteousness delivers from death.(Proverbs 10:2)
For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.(2 Corinthians 5:21)
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age;(Titus 2:11,12)
But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.(1 Timothy 6:11)
Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.(Philippians 4:8)
Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.(Galatians 6:7)
Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up.(Galatians 6:9)
Como a justiça se manifesta na prática
A justiça bíblica produz frutos visíveis no cotidiano.
Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.(James 3:18)
Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.(James 5:16)
Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners. Purify your hearts, you double-minded.(James 4:8)
Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stand on the path of sinners,
nor sit in the seat of scoffers;(Psalms 1:1)
Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous.
His ears listen to their cry.(Psalms 34:15)
For Yahweh loves justice,
and doesn’t forsake his saints.
They are preserved forever,
but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.(Psalms 37:28)
For he will never be shaken.
The righteous will be remembered forever.(Psalms 112:6)
With my whole heart I have sought you.
Don’t let me wander from your commandments.(Psalms 119:10)
O juízo e a retribuição do Senhor
who "will pay back to everyone according to their works:"(Romans 2:6)
See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good for one another and for all.(1 Thessalonians 5:15)
But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. "Don’t fear what they fear, neither be troubled."(1 Peter 3:14)
If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. (Luke 6:33)
It is a snare to a man to make a rash dedication,
then later to consider his vows.(Proverbs 20:25)
