Justiça
A justiça é atributo de Deus e vocação do cristão. A Bíblia chama os crentes a buscar a justiça, praticar o que é reto e confiar no Deus que julga justamente.
Buscar a justiça
Buscai primeiro o Reino de Deus e a sua justiça. Quem semeia justiça colherá galardão seguro e duradouro.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Justiça em Cristo
Deus tornou Cristo a nossa justiça. Pela fé somos declarados justos diante de Deus — não por obras, mas pela graça.
21 For he hath made him, who knew no sin, a sin-offering for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God through him.
11 For the saving grace of God hath appeared to all men,12 Teaching us, that, having renounced ungodliness and all wordly desires, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present world,
11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report: if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things:
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that also shall he reap.
9 But let us not be weary of well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Praticar a justiça
O fruto da justiça semeia-se em paz para os que promovem a paz. Os olhos do Senhor estão sobre os justos.
18 without partiality and without dissimulation, And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace for them that make peace.
16 Confess your faults one to another, brethren, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed: the fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
8 Draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you: cleanse your hands, ye sinners, and purify your hearts, ye double-minded.
Consequências
O Senhor recompensará cada um segundo suas obras. A justiça exalta a nação e traz segurança aos que a praticam.
6 Who will render to every one according to his works: To them that by patient continuance in well-doing seek for glory,
15 See that none render to any man evil for evil, but ever follow that which is good, both to one another and to all men.
14 But even if ye do suffer for righteousness sake, happy are ye; and be not afraid of their terror, neither be ye troubled, But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts:
33 And if ye do good to them that do good to you, what thank have ye? For even sinners do the same.
