Língua
A língua tem poder de vida e de morte. A Bíblia compara a língua ao leme de um navio e à faísca que incendeia uma floresta. Dominar a língua é prova de maturidade espiritual.
O poder da língua
A morte e a vida estão no poder da língua. Quem a domina é varão perfeito, capaz de controlar todo o corpo.
Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
For in many things we offend (make angry; make one stumble; violate) all. If any man offend (make angry; make one stumble; violate) not in word, the same [is] a perfect man, [and] able also to bridle the whole body.
Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.
Behold also the ships, which though [they be] so great, and [are] driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm (rudder and tiller to steer a ship), to wherever the governor lists.
Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasts great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindles!
And the tongue [is] a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and has been tamed of mankind:
But the tongue can no man tame; [it is] an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
Therewith bless we God-The Father, even the Father; and with that curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God-The Father.
Out of the same mouth proceeds blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
Does a fountain send forth at the same place sweet [water] and bitter?
Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so [can] no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
Palavras sábias
A língua branda quebra até ossos. A palavra certa no tempo certo é como maçãs de ouro em salvas de prata.
By long forbearing is a prince persuaded, and a soft tongue breaks the bone.
There is that speaks like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise [is] health.
The lip of tshall be established forever: but a lying tongue [is] but for a moment.
In the multitude of words there wants not sin: but he that refrains his lips [is] wise.
Even a fool, when he holds his peace, is counted wise: [and] he that shuts his lips [is esteemed] a man of understanding.
Disciplinar a fala
Quem guarda a boca e a língua guarda a sua alma de angústias. A religião sem controle da língua é vã.
If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridles not his tongue, but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion [is] vain.
I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.
What man [is he that] desires life, [and] loves [many] days, that he may see good?
Keep youri tongue from evil, and youri lips from speaking deceit.
The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of judgment.
The law of his God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] [is] in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.
And my tongue shall speak of youri righteousness [and] of youri praise all the day long.
For [there is] not a word in my tongue, [but], lo, O LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], youi know it altogether.
Deliver my soul, O LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], from lying lips, [and] from a deceitful tongue.
The LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] shall cut off all flattering lips, [and] the tongue that speaks proud things:
Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips [are] our own: who [is] lord over us?
Destroy, O Lord-Adonai (The Father) [Greatest Above All Things], [and] divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.
Toda língua confessará
Ao nome de Jesus todo joelho se dobrará e toda língua confessará que Jesus Cristo é Senhor, para glória de Deus Pai.
For what reason God-The Father also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Yeshua [God is Salvation] every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;
And [that] every tongue should confess that Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah] [is] Lord - Kurios, to the glory of God-The Father the Father.
Though I speak with the tongues (foreign languages) of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become [as] sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
"I say to you that for all the words which a man shall speak he will be obliged to give an account on the day of judgment".
"According to your words you will be judged and according to your deeds you will be convicted".
And the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men built.
And the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) said, Behold, the people [is] one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.
So the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) scattered them abroad from there upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build [stopped building] the city.
Therefore is the name of it called Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds); because the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) did there confound the language of all the earth: and from there did the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
