Hallelujah. Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in the firmament of His power. Praise Him for His mighty acts; praise Him according to His abundant greatness. Praise Him with the blast of the horn; praise Him with the psaltery and harp. Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; praise Him with stringed instruments and the pipe. Praise Him with the loud-sounding cymbals; praise Him with the clanging cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Hallelujah.(Psalms 150:1-6)

Hallelujah. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens; praise Him in the heights. Praise ye Him, all His angels; praise ye Him, all His hosts. Praise ye Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all ye stars of light. Praise Him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that are above the heavens. Let them praise the name of the LORD; for He commanded, and they were created. He hath also established them for ever and ever; He hath made a decree which shall not be transgressed. Praise the LORD from the earth, ye sea-monsters, and all deeps; Fire and hail, snow and vapour, stormy wind, fulfilling His word; Mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars; Beasts and all cattle, creeping things and winged fowl; Kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all judges of the earth; Both young men and maidens, old men and children; Let them praise the name of the LORD, for His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven.(Psalms 148:1-13)

Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable.(Psalms 145:3)

Cânticos, instrumentos e a expressão congregacional

Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous, praise is comely for the upright. Give thanks unto the LORD with harp, sing praises unto Him with the psaltery of ten strings. Sing unto Him a new song; play skilfully amid shouts of joy.(Psalms 33:1-3)

(40-4) And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God; many shall see, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.(Psalms 40:3)

Sing unto Him, sing praises unto Him; speak ye of all His marvellous works.(1 Chronicles 16:9)

Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped; And he said; naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither; the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.(Job 1:20,21)

And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed them that should sing unto the LORD, and praise in the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and say: 'Give thanks unto the LORD, for His mercy endureth for ever.' And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set liers-in-wait against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, that were come against Judah; and they were smitten.(2 Chronicles 20:21,22)

(42-12) Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why moanest thou within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the salvation of my countenance, and my God.(Psalms 42:11)

(30-12) Thou didst turn for me my mourning into dancing; Thou didst loose my sackcloth, and gird me with gladness; (30-13) So that my glory may sing praise to Thee, and not be silent; O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto Thee for ever.(Psalms 30:11,12)

A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits; Who forgiveth all thine iniquity; who healeth all Thy diseases; Who redeemeth Thy life from the pit; who encompasseth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;(Psalms 103:1-4)

(34-1) A Psalm of David; when he changed his demeanour before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed. (34-2) I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. (34-3) My soul shall glory in the LORD; the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. (34-4) O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together.(Psalms 34:1-3)

From the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof the LORD’S name is to be praised.(Psalms 113:3)

But as for me, I will hope continually, and will praise Thee yet more and more.(Psalms 71:14)
