O amor materno reflete o divino.
As one whom his em comforteth,
so will I comfort you;
and ye shall be comforted in Yerushalayim.
Hinei, banim are nachalat Hashem;
and the p’ri habeten is a zachar (reward).
(Shir HaMa’alot)
Ashrei kol yerei (fearers of) Hashem;
that walketh in His drakhim.
For thou shalt eat the labor of thine hands;
happy shalt thou be, and it shall be tov with thee.
Ahavah suffers long; ahavah is kind; ahavah does not have kinah; ahavah does not brag; ahavah is not puffed up in ga’avah (conceit, pride); ahavah does not behave shamelessly; ahavah does not in anochiyut insist on its own way; ahavah is not touchy and vindictive, keeping a record of wrongs. Ahavah does not find simcha in evil, but rejoices in HaEmes. Ahavah covers all things, believes all things, has tikvah (hope), even savlanut, for all things.
Sabedoria e instrução
A mãe sábia instrui os filhos nos caminhos de Deus. Seu ensino é lei que guia e sua disciplina é expressão de amor verdadeiro.
Beni (my son), hear the musar Avicha,
and forsake not the Torat Immecha.
For they shall be a garland of chen unto thy rosh,
and a chain about thy neck.
Train up a na’ar in the derech (road) he should go,
and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
He that spareth his shevet (rod) hateth bno (his son),
but he that loveth him is diligent in his musar (discipline).
A ben chacham maketh glad an av,
but a kesil adam despiseth immo.
Only be shomer over thyself, and be shomer over thy nefesh diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy lev kol yamim of thy life; but teach them to thy banim, and the banim of thy banim;
Honrar a mãe
Honra teu pai e tua mãe. A mulher virtuosa é digna de louvor — seus filhos se levantam e a chamam bem-aventurada.
Honor thy av and thy em; that thy yamim may be long upon ha’adamah which Hashem Eloheicha giveth thee.
Yeladim, obey your horim (parents) in Adoneinu, for this is right. KABED ES AVICHA V’ES IMMECHA, which is the mitzvah harishonah with a havtacha, That it may be well with you and you will be a long time on ha’aretz.

For her worth is far above rubies.

her ba’al (husband) also, and he praiseth her.
Rabbot banot have done virtuously,
but thou excellest them all.
Chen (charm) is sheker (deceitful), and yofi (beauty) is fleeting;
