A existência do mal é realidade que a Bíblia confronta diretamente. Deus não é autor do mal, mas nos dá armas para vencê-lo e promete que o bem sempre prevalecerá.
Separar-se do mal
O temor do Senhor é aborrecer o mal. A Bíblia nos exorta a odiar o pecado, guardar os pés do mal e fugir de toda aparência maligna.
Honoring the Lord means hating evil. So I hate pride and arrogance, wicked behavior and telling lies.
You who love the Lord, hate evil! He protects the lives of those who are faithful to him, and saves them from the power of wicked people.
Reject what is evil, do what is good. Look for peace, and work to make it a reality.

Vencer o mal com o bem
Não te deixes vencer do mal, mas vence o mal com o bem. A luz brilha nas trevas, e as trevas não prevalecem contra ela.
Don’t be defeated by evil—conquer evil with good.
Love must be genuine. Hate what is evil; hold on tightly to what is good.
Now I’m pleading with you my fellow-believers: watch out for those who cause arguments and confuse people about the teachings you learned. Stay away from them!
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not extinguished it.
Make sure none of you pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to one another, and to everyone.
make sure to check everything. Hold on to whatever is good; keep away from every kind of evil.
Proteção contra o mal
Deus nos livra do mal e guarda nossos passos. Devemos nos revestir da armadura de Deus para resistir às forças das trevas.
Please don’t let us give in to temptation, and save us from the evil one.
I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but for you to protect them from the evil one.
The Lord will protect you from all kinds of evil; he will keep you safe and sound.
The Lord will look after you when you leave, and when you return, now and forever.
The Lord will rescue me from all the evil things done against me, and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. His is the glory forever and ever. Amen.
Put on all the armor of God so you can withstand all the devil’s attacks!
We’re not fighting against human forces, but against supernatural rulers and powers, the dark lords of this world, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.
Don’t sin by getting angry; don’t let evening come and find you still mad— and don’t give the devil any opportunity.
Deus transforma o mal em bem
O que o mal pretendeu contra nós, Deus transformou em bem. Ele tira pureza da aflição e confessa a restauração dos arrependidos.
While you planned bad things for me, God planned it for good so that in the end many lives could be saved.
So get rid of all that’s filthy and evil. Humbly accept the word that’s been implanted within you—for this is what can save you.
But if we confess our sins, he is trustworthy and right so that he can forgive us our sins and make us clean from all that is not right in us.
It’s what comes out of you that makes you unclean. It’s from the inside, from people’s minds, that evil thoughts come: sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, indecency, envy, slander, pride, thoughtlessness— all these evils come from inside and defile people."
Hatred causes conflict, but love covers all wrongs.
This is what the Lord says. Judge fairly and truthfully. Show mercy and kindness to one another. Don’t exploit those who are widowed or fatherless, foreigners or the poor. Don’t think up ways of mistreating one other.
