Mediador

Jesus é o único mediador entre Deus e os homens. Ele é o caminho, a verdade e a vida — ninguém vem ao Pai senão por Ele. Sua intercessão é eterna e perfeita.

O único mediador

Há um só Deus e um só mediador entre Deus e os homens — Cristo Jesus. Ele intercede por nós diante do Pai com autoridade eterna.

5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and human beings, the man Christ Jesus,

6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

6 But now he has attained a more excellent ministry, by as much as he is also mediator of a better covenant which has been enacted upon better promises.

15 And because of this, he is the mediator of a new covenant, in order that, because a death has taken place for the redemption of transgressions committed during the first covenant, those who are the called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

Intercessão e proteção

Jesus rogou ao Pai que nos guarde do mal. O Espírito intercede por nós com gemidos inexprimíveis, e nada nos separa do amor de Cristo.

15 I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you protect them from the evil one.

João 17:15

27 And the one who searches our hearts knows what the mindset of the Spirit is, because he intercedes on behalf of the saints according to the will of God.

Romanos 8:27

38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
