Mediador
Jesus é o único mediador entre Deus e os homens. Ele é o caminho, a verdade e a vida — ninguém vem ao Pai senão por Ele. Sua intercessão é eterna e perfeita.
O único mediador
Há um só Deus e um só mediador entre Deus e os homens — Cristo Jesus. Ele intercede por nós diante do Pai com autoridade eterna.
5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, himself man, Christ Jesus,
6 Jesus said to him, "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
6 But now Christ has obtained a ministry as much more excellent as the covenant of which he is mediator is better and based upon better promises.
15 For this reason he is the mediator of a better covenant that, a death having taken place for redemption from sins under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the eternal inheritance promised to them.
Intercessão e proteção
Jesus rogou ao Pai que nos guarde do mal. O Espírito intercede por nós com gemidos inexprimíveis, e nada nos separa do amor de Cristo.
15 I do not pray thee to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil.
27 And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because he intercedes for the holy according to the will of God.
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor archangels, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,39 nor height nor depth nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God's love in Christ Jesus our Lord.
21 Him who knew no sin God made sin for our sake that we might become the righteousness of God in him.
